Baby Manasri Chowdhury, aged 1 year 10 months, is courageously fighting Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type-1, one of the most severe forms of this rare genetic disorder.
SMA gradually weakens the muscles responsible for breathing, swallowing, sitting, standing, and movement. Without timely treatment, the disease continues to progress and threatens a child's life.
Manasri is currently receiving medical care at:
Tripura Medical College & Dr. BRAM Teaching Hospital
Her father, Mr. Dhruba Chowdhury, along with the family, is doing everything possible to save her. Unfortunately, the required treatment costs nearly ₹9,00,00,000 (₹9 Crore / approximately $1.1 Million USD)—an amount impossible for an ordinary family to arrange alone.
